Off to Graceland!

After stopping for a brief breakfast at a Denny's in Mephis, we are all set and on our way to visit Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley. There will be pictures to follow later this afternoon!

10 Days!

Today the Preble Choirs had a very successful rehearsal for our upcoming tour to New Orleans. We have a wide variety of music that we are learning quickly. By having rehearsals every school day that is left until we for our trip, we hope that we will be able to make our repertoire performance ready. Every spare second of our remaining rehearsals will be very important to us so that we can represent the Preble Music Program well while we are on tour. Our choir has two opportunities to perform while we are in New Orleans. The first performance will be a clinic at Loyola University where we will attend a workshop with Dr. Meg Frazier. The other performance will be at the St. Louis Cathedral which is considered to be "the heart of old New Orleans." We have a total of seven more rehearsals before we leave for our trip. We are all very excited to make new friends, make fantastic memories, and make some fantastic music while touring this amazing city! We hope to be able to keep you updated throughout the course of our trip!
